Nichole Bache to lead NP health department

The New Philadelphia Board of Health has selected Nichole Bache to become the next health commissioner for the New Philadelphia Health Department, beginning June 1. Current Health Commissioner Vickie Ionno announced her decision to retire from the New Philadelphia Board of Health after serving 14 years as health commissioner. Her last day will be May 31.
Bache has been the city health department’s director of nursing since her hire in 2007. She has provided oversight of the clinic and a multitude of clinical programs and services.
Bache graduated with her BSN from Walsh University in 2005. She is a certified child passenger safety technician. Bache sits on the ONE OHIO-Region 11 Board, Addiction Task Force, Community Correction’s Planning Board and the New Philadelphia Municipal Recovery Court Committee.
