A hearing will be held in the Tuscarawas County Commissioners’ conference room on April 23 at 11 a.m. The public is welcome to attend.

                        

Tuscarawas County Job and Family Services; Alcohol, Drug, and Mental Health Services Board of Tuscarawas and Carroll Counties; and Tuscarawas County Board of Developmental Disabilities will hold a hearing on the proposed use of Title XX Social Services funds for the two-year period of Oct. 1, 2021, to Sept. 30, 2023.

The hearing will be held in the Tuscarawas County Commissioners’ conference room, 125 E. High Ave., New Philadelphia, on April 23 at 11 a.m. The public is welcome to attend.

Each agency will present to the public its two-year plan for providing social services utilizing federal Title XX monies. An opportunity for attendees to comment or make recommendations will follow the presentations. A report of this hearing will be submitted to the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.

In addition, there is a 45-day public comment period regarding the proposed use of Title XX Social Services funds. This comment period will begin April 10. During these dates, written comments may be submitted to Tuscarawas County Job and Family Services, 389 16th St. SW, New Philadelphia, OH 44663.
