Several road closures coming in Wayne County
The Wayne County Engineer’s Office announced the following road closures in the county:
—Cedar Valley Road: County Road 22 will be closed to through traffic between Myers Road and Martin Road for five days starting Monday, Aug. 8 for a culvert-replacement project. The recommended detour is Myers Road, to state Route 539, to Martin Road and reverse. Detour signs will be posted.
—Resurfacing work will begin on Moreland Road between Honeytown and Fountain Nook. Intermittent closures and delays should be expected.
—The East Union Township trustees reported the following road closure: Kansas Road will be closed between Hackett and Lautenschlager for five days beginning Monday, Aug. 8 for a culvert-replacement project. Use Kohler or Carr Road as a detour.
