Soap Box Derby canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic
The annual event was to be held June 28 in Sugarcreek. It would have been the 67th year for the local derby.
The Tuscarawas County Soap Box Derby organizers have announced this year’s event has been canceled.
The annual event was to be held June 28 in Sugarcreek. It would have been the 67thyear for the local derby.
“Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are announcing the cancellation of the 2020 Soap Box Derby,” race director Tim Hiller said. “We are planning on being back in 2021.”
