Summer trail walks in Holmes and Wayne counties
                        

The Falls Prevention Program of Holmes & Wayne, under the direction of the Holmes County General Health District, and the Standing Against Falls Coalition are sponsoring summer trail walks to promote the importance of daily physical activity and exercise to aid in the prevention of falls. The trail walks will be held at trail sites throughout Holmes and Wayne counties in June, July and August. Bring the family. No registration is needed.

The first walk will be Friday, June 13 at Lake Memorial Park on County Road 100 in Big Prairie from 9:30-10:30 a.m.

The second walk will be Friday, July 18 at Harold D. Miller Trail, Well Street entrance, in Shreve from 9:30-10:30 a.m.

The third walk will be Friday, Aug. 15 at the Holmes County Home Trail on 7260 state Route 83 in Holmesville from 9:30-10:30 a.m.
