T4C collecting blankets for area nursing home residents

Tuscarawas County Council for Church and Community is collecting lap blankets for residents in Tuscarawas County nursing homes. T4C will distribute the blankets to the nursing facilities before Christmas.
The goal is to have 1,000 blankets before Thanksgiving. If you would like to cut squares, sew the blankets together or have fabric to donate, call the office at 330-343-6012. Crocheted, knitted and no-sew blankets also are accepted.
