Wayne-Holmes Right to Life is inviting the community to join a Diaper Drive and donation event on Saturday, Dec. 7 at North Life Baptist Church from 10 a.m. to noon to collect essential items for mothers and their children in need.

The drive will support The Gabriel Project and The Pregnancy Care Center, two organizations dedicated to assisting women and babies in the local area. Volunteers will stuff diaper bags with donated items including diapers, blankets and hygiene products.

“We’re coming together to be a light for mothers and their babies in need,” event organizer Meghan Millea said.

The church is located at 2437 Back Orrville Road in Wooster. Drop off diapers and other needed items at the church entrance.

The drive is seeking items such as diapers (sizes four through seven), pull-ups (2T-6T), wet wipes, diaper rash cream, baby bottles (newborn sizes, brands like Mam and Tommee Tippee preferred), baby nail kits, thermometers, sippy cups, pacifiers, baby brushes and combs and more. Donations of receiving and throw blankets, laundry detergent, and hygiene products for mothers also are welcome. Homemade items are encouraged.

Those unable to attend can drop off donations throughout December at Great Finds Resale, 328 E. Liberty St., Wooster.

For more information or to RSVP, call or email Millea at 330-931-2391 or MeghanRMillea@gmail.com.
