Holmes library has lots to offer in March
The Holmes County District Public Library is offering numerous programs and activities in the month of March. Call the library at 330-674-5972 to sign up or for more information.
Marvelous March Madness craft and activity kits for age 2-12 include a Leprechaun Trap to create, a sundial craft, activities and coloring sheets. March’s kit can be picked up at the Central or East Branch library locations.
Virtual Trivia Nights for kids age 8-12 will be Tuesdays at 7 p.m. on March 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30. Join the children’s department for a round of trivia. Games take place on the Crowdpurr website and require a computer, smartphone or tablet. Information on how to play is posted on the library website at www.holmeslibrary.org and Facebook page.
Virtual Storytime for kids age 2-5 will be Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m. on March 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31. Join for stories, songs, rhymes and more via Facebook live. Visit www.facebook.com/holmeslibrary.

March Take and Make kits for adults include a seed-starting kit for beginners and make a shamrock wreath.
Ancestry Library Edition will be Tuesday, March 9 at 7 p.m. It’s a virtual introduction to online genealogy research using Ancestry Library Edition. It’s via Zoom and free to adults with a library card. Registration is required.
Virtual Trivia Nights for adults will be Thursdays at 7 p.m. on March 4, 11, 18 and 25. Join for a night of general trivia. Play on your own or as part of a team using a smartphone, tablet or computer. Games take place on the Crowdpurr website at www.crowd.live and require a game code to play.
March’s Virtual Book Discussion for adults will be Tuesday, March 30 at 8 p.m. Join the discussion of “All Creatures Great and Small” by James Herriot.
