The Norma Johnson Center will host the Celebrate the Season event and Luminary Trail Walk on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 3-7 p.m. The event has been sponsored by DoverPhila Federal Credit Union.

The activities will take place at the red barn on Conservation Drive from 3-5 p.m. Those attending will have a chance to take a family hike along the trails, create a few family crafts, stage a family photo opportunity and tell Santa last-minute requests for the North Pole while sipping hot chocolate and nibbling on cookies from Ginger’s Bakery. A petting zoo will possibly be located in the bottom of the red barn.

The Luminary Trail Walk will be open from 5-7 p.m. and will be located on the trails near the picnic shelter and pond on Conservation Drive.

Dress for the weather because the barn is not heated. There is no charge for the event, but children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Donations will be accepted.
