Zoar offers Behind-The-Scenes Tours
The basement of the Number One House is just one area included on Zoar’s Behind-The-Scenes Tours.
Historic Zoar Village will offer Behind-The-Scenes Tours, which will take visitors beyond the regular tours to explore basements, attics, and other nooks and crannies of the town’s historic buildings.
Tours will be held March 22, 23, 24, 29, 30 and 31 and April 4, 5, 6 and 7. Thursday through Saturday tours will begin at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. with Sunday tours beginning at noon, 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.
The cost is $15 per person. Reservations and prepayment are required at least one week in advance of the chosen tour date, but those interested are encouraged to reserve spots early for these tours, which often sell out and are limited to 10 people per group.
