The Wayne County Health Department, paid for through a grant by the Ohio Department of Health, has acquired a mobile unit. While the health department has long performed outreach, it can now do it full service.

The health department provides education, vaccine administration and COVID testing on the unit. The mobile clinic will make regular monthly stops in Mount Eaton and Kidron to serve those communities and will provide outreach services of various types throughout the county on Fridays.

“We are stepping up our community outreach, and we are prepared to travel across the county in an effort to increase our ability to provide quality public health services to all corners of Wayne County,” said Patty Reining, Wayne County Health Department director of nursing.

Call the health department at 330-264-9590 for more information or if you have an event where you think the community may benefit.
