Free talks on health will be given throughout November at various Aultman Hospital sites.

                        

Aultman Hospital will present free HealthTalk programs during the month of November. Seating for all HealthTalks is limited, and reservations are required. Plant-Perfect Diet, presented by Adene Keller, BSN, RN-C, will be Nov. 12 at 6 p.m. at Aultman Massillon. This HealthTalk will discuss how to start a plant-based diet shown to help prevent, stop and even reverse heart disease. Keller also will discuss how to shop for and prepare heart-healthy food.

Robotic-Assisted Total Knee Replacement, presented by Steven Widmer, M.D., orthopedic surgeon, will be Nov. 13 at 6 p.m. at Aultman Orrville Hospital. Come hear about how this new advancement improves accuracy, care and patient outcomes in total knee replacement using a robotic arm.

Lung Cancer Awareness and Prevention, presented by Kay Miller, MBA, RRT, will be Nov. 15 at noon at Aultman Alliance Community Hospital. Miller will discuss the leading causes of lung cancer, along with common signs and symptoms and ways to protect against it.

Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease, presented by Terry Tegtmeier, M.D., cardiologist, will be Nov. 19 at 6 p.m. at Aultman Massillon. Heart disease is the number-one killer. Tegtmeier will discuss how coronary artery disease develops and how plant-based nutrition has been shown to prevent, stop and even reverse heart disease.

Presentations will be held at the following locations: Aultman Orrville Hospital's community room, 832 S. Main St., Orrville; Aultman Alliance Community Hospital, 200 E. State St., Alliance; and Aultman Massillon, Door 3, 2051 Wales Ave. NW, Massillon.

All programs are free and open to the public. Seating is limited, and reservations are required.
