Wellness walk to be held at Dover City Park
Dover City Park, 2421 N. Wooster Ave., is the venue for a wellness walk sponsored by Trinity Hospital Twin City. Participants can meet by the pond.
Trinity Hospital Twin City will host a free, guided wellness walk and health talk on Monday, May 14 at 4:30 p.m. at the Dover City Park, 2421 N. Wooster Ave. The group will meet at the pond located near the back of the park after the baseball fields.
Those who attend will walk through the park with Trinity Hospital Twin City’s certified diabetes educator, LuAnn Beavers-Willis, who will share tips about ways to make healthy choices for those who live with diabetes and other chronic conditions.
In case of inclement weather, the group will meet under one of the nearby picnic shelters at the park. In case of thunderstorms, the event will be cancelled.
