The Holmes County Retired Teachers are offering a service program featuring benefits available to STRS recipients and ORTA members.

Association Member Benefits Advisors will be available Thursday, April 11 from 4-6 p.m. at the Holmes County District Public Library’s meeting room, 3102 Glen Drive, Millersburg. They will explain benefits available to teachers and administrators.

Those who travel frequently and those educators who have a spouse piggy-backing on their STRS insurance will be especially interested in this program.

Benefits include affordable health insurance for spouses, emergency travel insurance, medical air services (MASA), identity-theft solutions, computer discounts, long-term care, Medicare supplement plans, travel and rental discounts, home health-care insurance, dental plans, hearing and vision plans, and more.

Appetizers and check-in will start at 4 p.m. A presentation will be given at 4:30 p.m., followed by time for group questions. Then attendees will be given ample individual time with advisors for personal questions.

This meeting is being sponsored by the Holmes County Retired Teachers, a chapter of the Ohio Retired Teachers Association, and is available to all educators in Holmes County and surrounding areas.

To reserve a spot, call or text RSVPs to Judy at 330-763-4031 by April 8. Walk-ins are welcome until 5:45 p.m.
