The Holmes County board of elections recently launched a new website and email account.
The Holmes County board of elections recently launched a new website and email, following a secretary of state security directive requiring all email addresses used to conduct board of elections’ official business must end in “.gov” or “.us” and that each board of elections must use a domain name ending in “.gov” or “.us” for its board of elections’ website.
The new website is www.boe.ohio.gov/holmes/, and holmes@ohiosos.gov is the general office email. The board of elections cautions everyone to identify whether an email or website is a legitimate source in order to prevent the spread of disinformation.
