Start the year off by saving money with the help of a Tuscarawas County Public Library card. Cardholders can stream movies, music, TV shows and more for free.

“Keeping up with all of the latest streaming services can be overwhelming and expensive,” technology training coordinator Jessica Conley said. “The county library will be offering programs the next few months to help cardholders learn to use some of the great free resources they have available with their library card.”

Upcoming app programs include the following:

—Explore the library’s SEO Libraries app, which allows people to place holds, check items out and more, right from their smart device. Program on Tuesday, Jan. 25 at noon and 6 p.m.

—Learn how to stream free movies and TV shows with a library card on Tuesday, Feb. 22 at noon and 6 p.m.

—Learn how to borrow eBooks, audiobooks, digital magazines and more from the library on Tuesday, March 22 at noon and 6 p.m.

—Learn how to borrow eBooks, audiobooks and videos for free with a library card on Tuesday, April 26 at noon and 6 p.m.

According to Conley, attendees are encouraged to bring their own device to follow along during the program.
