Do you use any of the transportation-assistance programs in Wayne County? Do you ride the Wooster Transit? Do you use any of the cab companies in Wayne County? Have you ever needed to get somewhere and didn’t have a way to get there?

If you answered “yes” to any of these, you might want to participate in the Citizen Transportation Advisory Committee. This group will meet at least four times a year and will work with the Wayne County Transportation Coalition on solutions to transportation barriers and on implementing the Locally Coordinated Transportation Plan.

CTAC members will be asked to identify transportation barriers and to work with the Transportation Coalition in addressing and removing those barriers. Meetings will last one to two hours, and accessible transportation will be available if needed. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, meetings will be held via Zoom or by phone.

Information on CTAC and a membership packet are available by calling Leslie Baus, Wayne County mobility coordinator at Community Action Wayne/Medina, at 330-264-8677 or 330-601-3021 or via email at lbaus@cawm.org. A Zoom meeting will be March 8 at 7 p.m., and invitation to the meeting will be provided by contacting Baus.

The meeting also will be available on Community Action Wayne/Medina Mobility Management’s YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/channel/UCO_AbleC35Md4-cVe0OWoiQ, and a recording of the meeting also will be available for viewing on this YouTube channel.

For more information about CTAC, call or email Baus.
