Classes offered in Zoar
A fairy garden workshop with local artist and Zoar Store vendor Jane Donehue of Bluebird Pottery will be offered in June.
Historic Zoar Village is taking reservations for two classes.
Zoar pretzel-making, taught by Separatist descendant and baker Nancy Gordon Wyatt, will be held June 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The cost is $50 and will include all instruction, ingredients and eight to 10 pretzels to take home. Reservations are due by May 24 and can be made by calling 330-874-3011.
On June 8 the village will offer a fairy garden workshop with local artist and Zoar Store vendor Jane Donehue of Bluebird Pottery. The $30 class fee includes all instruction, materials and one fairy garden pot to make to take home. Reservations for this class are due June 1 and can be made by calling 330-874-3011.
Zoar Community Association members receive a 10 percent discount on all classes. Proceeds from both classes will go toward the preservation and educational efforts of Historic Zoar Village.
