Buckeye sports fans should mark their calendars for Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 6:30 p.m. as the Tuscarawas County Public Library System will host a virtual program with Paul Keels, the Voice of the Buckeyes.

Keels is the radio play-by-play voice for Ohio State football and men’s basketball, host of Buckeye Roundtable, and a contributor on The Ryan Day Show and The Chris Holtmann Show.

“If you listen to Buckeye games on the radio, you’re going to recognize his voice,” library public service associate Jeff Bray said. “It’s an exciting chance to reminisce about Buckeye memories and talk about what lies ahead with the man who has been there for it all.”

Keels has been named Ohio Sportscaster of the Year four times and was inducted into the Ohio Broadcasters Hall of Fame in 2007. He will talk about how he got started and highlights of the past 22 years. A Q-and-A session also will follow the program.

To register for this free program, visit the library’s online registration calendar at www.tusclibrary.org or call 330-364-4474. This program will take place virtually through Zoom.
