The Dover Public Library will host author and Dover native Amy Diemling on Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 6:30 p.m. in the library’s community room as part of its Nights at the Round Table Author Series.

Diemling will discuss her new book, “Ridingleaze.” Horses, magic and mystery are not the only things that reside behind the gates of The Ridingleaze Stables. Readers are invited to join best friends Mandi, Drew and Zadie as they embark on adventures of intrigue, legends, mysticism and magic in this teen fantasy novel.

Diemling grew up loving horses and riding and showing them since the age of 5. After living with her husband in England for three years, they both returned to her family farm in Dover, where they still reside with their two children, Ayrton and Indigo.

Diemling has many loves and interests including being a licensed massage therapist and owner of The Retreat at Brandywine: A Massage and Bodywork Center. However, her favorite pastime is creating the world of “Ridingleaze,” where she has merged her love of horses and Great Britain with her fascination with magic and fantasy.

A book-signing will follow the program, which is free and open to all. Call the Dover Public Library at 330-343-6123 to register.

The Dover Public Library is located at 525 N. Walnut St. in Dover.
