TuscParks Fall Fest is a family-friendly event at the Norma Johnson Center on Oct. 7 from noon to 5 p.m. A donation of $5 per car will be taken at the entrance.

Activities are free during this event: pumpkin painting, face painting, hiking trails, a scavenger hunt, straw to stuff a scarecrow (bring the clothes), a kids craft, and educational and snack tables. Special visitors will be Blathmac featuring magic and live reptiles and balloon twisting.

The Norma Johnson Center's board will offer a donation-based concession stand. All A Flutter will release monarchs to fly to Mexico for $5 per release. Proceeds from the gate entry, concession and release will benefit NJC events and projects along with TuscParks' equipment needs.

Event sponsors are First National Bank of Dennison, Tastee Apple, Hope Hills Mission, Kimble Company and NJC Foundation Board.

The Norma Johnson Center is located outside of Dover, 3 miles west of the I-77 Dover Exit 83 on state Route 39.
