Go Eddie 5k, Mt. Hope Event Center merge race with vendor trade show
On May 15-16 the annual Go Eddie 5k and the Mt. Hope Event Center will join to offer runners and the public a fresh take on the already well-established race.
Along with this year’s popular 5k race in Mt. Hope, there will be a vendor trade show in the Mt. Hope Event Center. The show, called Run. Bike. Hike. A Wellness Expo, will feature local and out-of-town vendors whom specialize in the genres of running, hiking and biking. Mixed into the show will be a plethora of wellness vendors.
The event will start May 15 in the event center and is set to be loaded with entertainment, a seminar series, activities for kids, and food and healthy treats.
The Go Eddie 5k race will be held May 16 in Mt. Hope. Runners and their families will be able to experience a great race for the benefit of a local gentleman while also attending the vendor show, as Run. Hike. Bike. will be open during the day of the race.
The cost to enter the show is $10, and children 12 and under are free.
Also new this year will be the race start and finish line. Runners will take off from inside the event center, where show vendors will cheer them on as they head out on the course.
