The Tuscarawas County Public Library System will hold a budget-conscious program series.

                        

The Tuscarawas County Public Library System will hold a budget-conscious program series at the Tuscarawas County Main Library in New Philadelphia with the final program being offered at the Tuscarawas Branch Library in Tusky.

Free Streaming with Library Apps will take place Tuesday, Jan. 14 at noon; Thursday, March 6 at noon; and Tuesday, April 22 at noon.

The library apps give people access to more than just e-books. Learn how to stream movies, take guitar lessons, read magazines and more for free with your library card. Bring your device to follow along. This is limited to eight per session.

Budget Meals will take place Wednesday, Jan. 15 at 6:30 p.m.

Learn budget-friendly recipes with Rebecca Davis from the OSU Extension. This is limited to 20.

Savvy Shopper will take place Monday, Jan. 27 at 6:30 p.m.

Joe Daugirdas, aka Joe the Coupon Guy, has been honing his shopping skills in Northeast Ohio for many years. He typically saves 70-80% on groceries and over 90% on toiletries. Daugirdas will share money-saving tips for restaurants, utilities, cell/smartphones, travel, gas, prescriptions, clothes and more.

Travel Affordability will take place Monday, March 10 at 6:30 p.m.

Learn how to travel affordably. Daugirdas will share tips and tricks to travel affordably including how to find the best deals on car rentals, flights, cruises, lodging, transportation, and entertainment and restaurants at your destination.

Cutting the Cord will take place Tuesday, March 25 at noon and 6 p.m.

Learn about streaming services and how to connect these services to your TV. This is limited to 40 per session.

Thrifting 101 will take place at the Tusky Branch Library on Tuesday, April 15 at 6 p.m.

Learn about local thrift stores and how thrifting can save money. This is limited to 15.
