Kids will have a chance to create their own foil drawings during the second Art Club session at Dover Public Library on Thursday, March 15 at 3:45 p.m. Foil drawing is a simple yet detailed technique that has gained recent popularity with art teachers.

“This is a great way to put some pizzazz into an original drawing,” youth services manager Claire Kandle said. “We will spend a little time during this first class discussing the technique to make sure we understand how each step contributes to the finished product.”

The second class will take place Thursday, April 12 at 3:45 p.m. with a make-up session to be held May 24. “Just like last time, it’s OK to arrive up to 15 minutes late if you have difficulty getting here right after school.”

Call the library at 330-343-6123 for more information. Online registration is available at www.doverlibrary.org/event-calendar/.
