Buehler’s Fresh Foods and its customers had another successful Adaptive Sports Program of Ohio Ability to Play campaign. The 2019 campaign raised more than $13,000, which will provide individuals with physical disabilities access to sports.

During the campaign, customers at Buehler’s were able to meet ASPO athletes and learn more about the impact playing adaptive sports has on their lives.

“Buehler’s Fresh Foods proudly teamed up with ASPO to raise over $13,000 to help kids and adults with disabilities have the ability to play adaptive sports throughout the state of Ohio. We want to thank the Buehler’s customers for their generous donations that were made at the store locations during the campaign,” said Jeff Tomassetti, produce and floral director at Buehler’s Fresh Foods and ASPO board member.

Those who missed the campaign and still want to donate to ASPO can visit the website at www.adaptivesportsohio.org. People also can attend or participate in the upcoming 5k and 1-mile fun run, Casey’s Challenge, on Aug. 10 in Dalton. Register at www.bit.ly/2JPsHfW.
