Tickets on sale for Chocolate Love A’fair
Guests attending the event will have the opportunity to sample dozens of desserts created for the event by area chefs, bakers and chocolatiers. Gift baskets, gift certificates, desserts and other items donated by local restaurants and businesses also will be auctioned off during the event.
The Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital Auxiliary’s 20th annual edition of the Chocolate Love A’fair is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 2 from 1-3 p.m. in Buckeye Career Center at New Philadelphia.
All ticketholders will be able to have samples of chocolate-themed treats, and they will be entered into a special raffle for one of two grand prizes: a catered dinner for 20 people from Hog Heaven Restaurant worth $335 or a 55-inch smart TV with a Firestick.
Tickets for the Chocolate Love A’fair are on sale exclusively in the Corner Shop gift shop at Union Hospital. The Corner Shop is located inside the hospital’s main entrance and is open Monday through Friday from 6:45 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets cost $20 each.
All proceeds from the Chocolate Love A’fair are used to buy patient care equipment and improve facilities at Union Hospital.

The Hog Heaven Reserve Champion Feast for 20 People raffle item includes two meats, two sides, salad, bread and beverages and will be delivered to one's location. The RCA Virtuoso Smart TV offers four times the resolution of full HD, plus built-in Wi-Fi and use with a wide variety of television, entertainment and other applications.
Attendees will have the opportunity to vote on their favorite chocolate dessert in the People’s Choice Award while local celebrity judges will be on hand to select the 2019 Judge’s Choice Award recipient.
“I am very excited about this year’s event and the two major raffle prizes we have for our ticketholders,” auxiliary member and event chair Angie Thomas of Bolivar said. “The Chocolate Love A’fair is an outstanding event each year.”
Tickets generally sell quickly, and all ticketholders are guaranteed to receive a sample from each exhibitor at the event.
