Join the Tuscarawas County Public Library System at the Tuscarawas Main Library in New Philadelphia for its Touch-a-Truck event on Thursday, June 8 at 6:30 p.m.

Families will be able to explore big trucks and machinery from throughout the community in the library parking lot. Vehicles coming include a post office truck, a library vehicle, a snow plow, a fire truck, a tractor, a sheriff's car and more. Sheriff Orvis Campbell will share a special story time.

“This will be a fun experience for kids to get up close to vehicles they may see in their neighborhood but aren't given the opportunity to be near,” children’s services manager Mary Smreck said.

The county’s main library is located at 121 Fair Ave. NW in New Philadelphia. In the event of rain, the event will be held Thursday, June 15 at 6:30 p.m.

Registration for this free family event can be completed online at www.tusclibrary.org or by calling the Tuscarawas Main Library at 330-364-4474.
