Back by popular demand and now in its sixth year, Unusual and Mysterious Holmes County will return to West Holmes High School theater on Thursday, Aug. 16 starting at 7 p.m. Last year’s crowd was over 200.

This year’s featured topics are paranormal activity at the Victorian House Museum and the ancient Indian cultures of the area.

Harry Wilson, chairman of the Victorian House Ghost Guild, will present a recap of some of the more dramatic paranormal events that have occurred at the house, followed by a presentation from Bob Porter, former teacher and president of the Killbuck Valley Museum. He will talk about Holmes County’s rich Indian history and the civilizations that built the Indian mounds.

Past program topics have included mysterious tunnels, Big Foot, the Killbuck Face Stone, UFOs and more.
