Bradley J. "Brad" King, age 59 of Sterling, died Sunday, June 9, 2019, at his residence in Sterling, surrounded by his family, following a period of declining health.

Brad was born Oct. 12, 1959, in Orrville to Charles L. “Bill” and Betty (Hasbrook) King. He married Jennifer Kick on July 28, 1987, in Orrville. Jennifer survives.

Brad was a life-long truck driver, most recently for Darwin Martin Trucking of East Earl, Pennsylvania.

Brad enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing, and he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Ashley (Lester) LeFever and Erin Smith, both of Sterling; four grandchildren, Jaedynn and Jaxsen Smith and Cael and Sawyer LeFever; a grandchild on the way; four sisters, Sheryl Musser of Orrville, Karen Fickes of Uniontown, Tammy (Robert) Hostetler of Orrville and Leesa King of Orrville; three brothers, Ronnie King of Orrville, Gary (Phyllis) King of Dalton and Jeff (Betty) King of Orrville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Brad was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Charles "Bill" Lee King, Jr.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 14 at Orrville Christian Church, 925 N. Elm St., Orrville, with Pastors John Mulpas and Tom Ledford officiating. Burial will take place at Sherwood Memorial Gardens in Wooster.

Friends may call on Thursday at Orrville Christian Church from 6-8 p.m.
