Brenda K. Rank
Brenda K. Rank, age 67 of Gnadenhutten, died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2018, in Community Hospice at New Philadelphia, following a brief illness.
Born in Barnesville on Dec. 3, 1950, Brenda was the daughter of the late Wayne J. and Betty Anderson Stephen and a 1962 graduate of Indian Valley High School in Gnadenhutten. On Jan. 29, 1972, she married her husband, Wesley E. “Wes” Rank of the residence, and spent her time being a homemaker and working on the family farm.
In addition to her husband, Brenda is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Grove and Megan (Craig) Long, both of Gnadenhutten; four grandchildren, Chelsea and Ciara Grove and Grant and Garrett Long of Gnadenhutten; two sisters, Barb Stephen of Newcomerstown and Bev (Steve) McComb of Port Washington; six brothers, Jerry (Sandra) Stephen of Newcomerstown, Bruce (Debbie) Stephen of Gnadenhutten, Mike (Phyllis) Stephen of Port Washington, Randy (Jeanne) Stephen of Port Washington, Paul “Whitey” Stephen and his companion, Carolyn Horsfall, of Gnadenhutten, and Roger (Marian) Stephen of Coshocton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 6 at 10:30 a.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home at New Philadelphia with Pastor Brian Flood officiating. Burial will be in Fry’s Valley Cemetery at Gnadenhutten. Visitation will be held Wednesday, Dec. 5 from 4-7 p.m. in the funeral home.
