Donald O. Michaels
Donald O. Michaels, age 82 of Stone Creek, died Jan. 17, 2019.
Donald was born in Akron and served in the Army during the Korean War. He retired from Washington Steel in Massillon. He loved playing cards, golf, hunting, fishing and gardening, but his biggest joy was his family and friends.
Donald is survived by his wife, Linda, of 55 years; son, Cary; grandchildren, Chandler, Samantha and Michael; brothers, Robert, Roger, Raymond and Thomas; sisters, Dorothy, Patricia, Diana and Janet; and many nieces and nephews.
Donald is preceded in death by his son, Gregory; parents, Joseph and Greta; brothers, James, Michael and Charles; and sister, Rebecca.
Cremation will take place through the care of the Geib Funeral Center in Dover. A memorial will be planned and announced at a later date.
