Eugene A. Tinlin
Eugene A. Tinlin, age 90 of New Philadelphia, died Jan. 26, 2019, in Hennis Care Center at Dover.
Born in Canton on April 21, 1928, Eugene was the son of the late Frank and Alice Mildred (Gauze) Tinlin.
On Nov. 19, 1949, Eugene married his wife, the former Kathryn (Bland) Tinlin. Together, they were blessed with the birth of six children.
After completing his formal education, Eugene worked with Gradall for 30 years prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Eagles Club.
Eugene will be deeply missed by his wife, Kathryn; his children, Nancy (Al) Warmus of Bath, Shelly (Tom) Buehler of New Philadelphia, Tracy (Mike) Wolfe of Malvern, Kristy (Mark) Robinson of Gnadenhutten and Eugene “Bo” (Tammy) Tinlin of Bolivar; his grandchildren, Dylan and Emily Wolfe, both of Malvern, Katie Robinson of Florida, Courtney and Matthew Robinson, both of Gnadenhutten, Jeff Reed, stationed in Guam, Jesse, Jett, Jaret, Jackson and Jayna Tinlin, all of Bolivar, Melissa Whiddon of Florida, Joe Weber of Florida, Brian (Jennifer) Warmus of Bath, Ali (John) Paxson of Bath, Ryan (Tina) Buehler of Ontario, Canada, and Tim (Ashlyn) Buehler of New Philadelphia; and 13 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Eugene was preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra Weber.
Visitation will be held in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia on Thursday, Jan. 31 from 2-4 p.m. A service celebrating Eugene’s life will begin at 4 p.m.
Inurnment will follow in Melscheimers Cemetery in Pike Township at a later date.
