Judith L. Miller, 56, of Uhrichsville, died Feb. 11, 2010, at Union Hospital, following a brief illness. Judy was born Oct. 4, 1953, in Wheeling, W.Va., to William A. Miller of Dover and the late Carolyn Miller. A 1972 graduate of Dover High School, she enjoyed writing poetry and listening to Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash music. She was a nurse’s aide at Union Hospital for 10 years. Surviving are a brother, James K. (Rebecca) Miller of New Philadelphia; nieces and nephew, Abby, Alix, and Adam (Chelsea) Miller; great-niece and -nephew, Ali and Kyle Miller; aunt, Irene Cole; cousins, Kathy Chini of St. Clairsville and Christine Graham of Galveston, Texas; uncle, Kenneth (Barbara) Cole of Texarkana, Texas; her longtime companion, Larry Rumes of Dover; and two longtime dear friends, Julie Watson of Dover and Retha Crips of Smyrna, Texas. Judy will be cremated and graveside services will be held at a later date in the Garden of Peace Mausoleum, Dover Burial Park.
