Michael James Musselman

                        

Michael James Musselman, age 57 of Apple Creek, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at his residence in Apple Creek, following a sudden illness.

Michael was born Jan. 9, 1962, in Wooster to Willard and Carol (Mann) Musselman and graduated from Waynedale High School (WCS Career Center) in 1980. He married Judy A. Bachman on Nov. 13, 1982, in Wooster. Judy survives.

Michael worked as a power plant operator for City of Orrville Utilities for the last 15 years and previously worked for Timken Steel in Wooster.

Michael was a member of Crown Hill Mennonite Church, where he served on the Crown Hill Manor board. He enjoyed reading, motorcycle riding with his wife and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Judy, are three sons, Terrill (Jessica) Musselman of Ft. Sill, Oklahoma, Lance (Rhonda) Musselman of Wooster and Dane Musselman of Rittman; five grandchildren, Simone, Gillian, Isabella and Maggie Musselman and Cameron Gillis; sister, Ruth Ison; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Cody J. Ison.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 29 at Crown Hill Mennonite Church, 9693 Benner Road, Rittman, with Pastor Thomas Dunn officiating. Burial will take place at Crown Hill Mennonite Cemetery in Rittman.

Friends may call on Friday, June 28 at Crown Hill Mennonite Church from 5-8 p.m. or from 10-10:45 a.m. on Saturday, prior to the service.
