Thelma Carol 'Tocy' Kinsey
Thelma Carol “Tocy” Kinsey, age 83 of Dover, died Sunday, May 12, 2019, in Hennis Care Center at Dover, following a period of declining health.
A daughter of the late Loy Alonzo and Lila (Davidson) Kinsey, Tocy was born Feb. 16, 1936, in Uhrichsville.
Tocy graduated from Uhrichsville High School and worked as an accountant and bookkeeper for many years. She had a love for music and playing the steel guitar. She also was known for her beautiful handwriting and addressed many invitations and other items for family and friends over the years.
Tocy is survived by many nieces and nephews as well as other extended family members and dear friends.
Tocy was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Irma Ghezzi and Dorothy Eileen Dunlap; and three brothers, Warren Dean, Vernon Ray and Harold Doyle Kinsey.
In keeping with Tocy’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or services, and cremation will take place through the care of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. Inurnment will take place in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
