Friends of Secrest concert series starting

Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach will begin a new collaboration with the Friends of the Secrest Arboretum with free concerts this spring and summer.
On Friday, May 28 at 6:30 p.m., vocalist Barbara Knight will open the 2021 summer series with tunes from the American Songbook. Hudson-based Tim Akin and his ensemble will accompany. Attendees will hear classic songs from the likes of Harold Arlen, Irving Berlin, Jerome Kern, Lerner & Lowe and more.
The concert will be held at Fisher Auditorium, 1680 Madison Ave., Wooster. Due to Ohio State University safety guidelines, attendance is limited to 300 people, and masks are required.
