Letter to the Editor:
I want to thank Wayne County citizens for the opportunity to serve as commissioner for the past 16 years. My current term ends Dec. 31, and I am not running again. In this May 8 Republican primary, you will select the Republican candidate for my current commissioner seat. The Republican candidate will then face a Democratic opponent in the November election. Bob Graber is the most qualified candidate in the Republican race for Wayne County commissioner.
As an entrepreneur Bob started two businesses: auctioneering and farming. Through excellent management and hard work, Bob has successfully grown both of those businesses. Bob understands how hard it is to earn a dollar and will bring his conservative fiscal business management to the commissioner’s office.
Wayne County citizens have trusted Bob Graber to sell their homes and farms worth hundreds of thousands of dollars over the past 30 years. Bob’s integrity has earned him that trust. Bob plans on putting the auctioneering business aside so he can serve the citizens of Wayne County as a full-time commissioner.
Bob’s agriculture business has enabled many small farmers the opportunity to continue farming. He created a consortium that raises over 4,100 head of dairy heifers for a large farm. He brought together 44 small farmers to meet the needs of the client.
On his own farm Bob Graber raises dairy heifers and farms 180 acres. Wayne County needs a commissioner with agriculture experience but also someone with the ability to problem solve and implement creative solutions.
Bob Graber is a family man who has served his community in numerous ways including as township trustee, as a member of his church, and founding and conducting the Ohio Crippled Children’s Benefit Auction.
Bob knows Wayne County, having done business in every township. His knowledge of our county and its citizens as well as his dedication, hard work and common sense are what we need in the commissioner’s office. Please join me in voting in the May 8 Republican primary for Bob Graber for Wayne County commissioner.
