The Tuscarawas Arts Support Grant is awarded to projects and programs with a focus on the arts in Tuscarawas County.

                        

The Tuscarawas Arts Partnership announced its first release of a grant to support arts initiatives in Tuscarawas County. The Tuscarawas Arts Support Grant is awarded to projects and programs with a focus on the arts in Tuscarawas County.

The grant acts to provide additional funding support for arts-based projects and programs that would impact the general public or communities within Tuscarawas County.

The goal of the grant is to uplift communities and bring people together through the impact and benefits of the arts, to expand access to the arts by making arts programs and projects available to communities across Tuscarawas County, to increase awareness of and advocacy for support and funding for the arts in Tuscarawas County, and to support a wide variety of arts activities in communities, developed by locals of Tuscarawas County.

Businesses, organizations and individuals are encouraged to apply.

The application deadline for the grant is Thursday, April 2. Those who apply for the grant will be notified of their award the week of May 5-8. Arts projects and programs will be awarded if they fall within the grant period: June 1, 2020, through May 31, 2021.

This can be accomplished by encouraging the arts to thrive across Tuscarawas County and encouraging partnerships between the arts with other art, business and community agencies to create positive impact and benefits throughout the county.
