Christmas recital held in Dalton
                        

On Dec. 11 a Christmas recital was held at Dalton Presbyterian Church by students of music teacher Sallie Morton.

Included among the selections were “Joy to the World,” performed by Amelia Correll; “O Come, O Come Emmanuel,” performed by Jenna Gasser; “O Come, All Ye Faithful,” performed by Katie Stine; “It Came Upon a Midnight Clear,” performed by Allison Gasser; “We Three Kings of Orient Are,” performed by Wesley Baker; “Silent Night,” performed by Mason Zimmerer; “Carol of the Bells,” performed by Carsten Gasser; and “Do You Hear What I Hear?” performed by Delaney Hoffman.

Other selections included “Up on the Housetop,” performed by Katelyn Baker; “Deck the Halls,” performed by Lucas Pindell; “Jingle Bells,” performed by Ian DeArment; “Sleigh Ride,” performed by Calvin Gasser; “Jingle Bell Rock,” performed by Jaden Clay; “Jolly Old Saint Nicholas” and “Canon in D,” performed as a duet by Allison Gasser and Sallie Morton; “Pachelbel Canon in D,” performed as a duet by Rachel Morse and Sallie Morton; and a singalong with “We Wish You a Merry Christmas,” with accompanist Jenna Gasser.
