This year’s Big Read book selection is the graphic memoir, “Can’t We Talk About Something More Pleasant?” by New Yorker magazine cartoonist Roz Chast.

                        

As part of the Massillon Museum’s NEA Big Read, Soroptimist International of Canton/Stark County will host an outdoor book discussion on Tuesday, July 28 at 10:30 a.m. at the Canton Garden Center. This year’s book selection is the graphic memoir, “Can’t We Talk About Something More Pleasant?” by New Yorker magazine cartoonist Roz Chast.

Guests should bring a chair. Light refreshments will be provided. Participation is free, but registration is required by calling 330-833-4061 ext. 104 to ensure social distancing. Free parking is available. In case of rain the event will be rescheduled.

Free copies of the book will be available at the Massillon Museum and the Massillon Public Library as long as supplies last. Visitors are strongly encouraged to wear masks at the Massillon Museum and are required to do so at the Massillon Public Library.
