An important piece of equipment on many farms is the field sprayer. Get ready for the approaching crop season by attending the sprayer technology and calibration workshop scheduled for Thursday afternoon, March 7 at Maibach Tractor, 13701 Eby Rd., Creston.
The workshop is sponsored by Wayne County Extension and Maibach Tractor and will run from 1-3 p.m. Erdal Ozkan, OSU Extension sprayer technology specialist, will conduct the workshop. Topics that will be covered include: Tips for Increasing Spraying Effectiveness, How to Avoid Common Spraying Errors, Choosing the Correct Sprayer Nozzle, New Sprayer Technology and a Hands-on Basic Sprayer Calibration Demonstration.
