Artist featured at Dover Library
The artist's work is reminiscent of pop art legend Andy Warhol, and the display features different celebrities and pop culture figures.
The Dover Public Library will feature the work of local artist E. Lockwood for the month of March in the Community Room Art Gallery.
Born in Dover, Lockwood works mostly in acrylic paints but also occasionally works in sculpture. Her work is reminiscent of pop art legend Andy Warhol, and the display features different celebrities and pop culture figures ranging from legends of yesterday such as James Dean and Sean Connery to modern icons such as Amy Winehouse and Cyndi Lauper.
The Dover Public Library said anyone with art they wish to share should contact the library.
