Create your own Ojos de Dios craft
The Massillon Public Library invites the public to come create a God’s Eye mandala on Wednesday, Jan. 15 at 6 p.m.
During Spanish colonial times in New Mexico from the 16th-19th centuries, Ojos de Dios, God’s Eye, was placed where people worked or walked along a trail, thought to protect them from harm. The public is invited to come and create their own God’s Eye with all supplies provided.
Registration is required for this free program. It will be held in the library’s auditorium. Children under age 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
For more information call the library’s reference desk at 330-832-9831 ext. 312 or visit the library’s website at www.massillonlibrary.org.
The Massillon Public Library is located at 208 Lincoln Way E., and the Second Street entrance is handicapped accessible.
