The game of Clue will come to Holmes County on June 11, and the public will play a starring role in the production.

Holmes Center for the Arts is gearing up for its version of Clue by involving the community and out-of-town guests in a game of mystery.

Visitors are invited to drop by Sol’s County Store during store hours on Friday, June 10 or from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 11 to receive a Clue game card that will allow them to set sail on a mystery tour that could end with shopping experiences.

Patrons can pick up their card and visit the stores listed on the card to match up the correct stores with characters from the game of Clue. Professor Plum, Col. Mustard, Miss Scarlett, Mrs. Peacock, Mrs. White and Mr. Green will be shopping around town and will provide customers with clues to help them win the game.

Once someone thinks they’ve solved the mystery, they are invited to turn their card into Olde World Bakery by 1:30 p.m. to be entered into a drawing. The grand-prize winner will receive two tickets to Holmes Center for the Arts’ performance of “Clue” at Berlin Park on either July 8 or July 9, a two-night stay at Berlin Grande Hotel, and a gift certificate from Olde World Bakery and Bistro. There will be additional prizes as well.
