‘Jersey Boys’ coming to PAC
“Jersey Boys,” the behind-the-scenes Broadway hit musical about Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, will come to the Performing Arts Center at Kent State University Tuscarawas for two performances Oct. 2-3. Both performances will be at 7:30 p.m.
They were just four guys from Jersey until they sang their very first note. They had a sound nobody had ever heard and the radio just couldn’t get enough of. But while their harmonies were perfect on stage, off stage it was a very different story, a story that has made them an international sensation all over again. Go behind the music and inside the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons in this Tony Award-winning true-life musical.
It features the legendary top-ten hits: “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Walk Like a Man,” “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” and “December, 1963 (Oh What a Night).”
“Jersey Boys” is not recommended for all ages. The show contains smoke, gun shots, strobe lights, drug references, sexual situations and “profane Jersey language.”
Tickets for “Jersey Boys” start at $55 and are on sale now at the Performing Arts Center box office, by calling 330-308-6400 or online at www.kent.edu/tusc/pac. The box office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Due to the popularity of the show, ticket availability is extremely limited.
The Performing Arts Center’s 2018-19 season is sponsored by Michael Taylor Insurance and Financial Incorporated, an Allstate Agency.
Free parking is available for all shows. Kent State Tuscarawas is located at 330 University Drive NE in New Philadelphia.
