“One Night in Memphis” is a tribute to Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis and Johnny Cash and will appear live at the Performing Arts Center at Kent State University at Tuscarawas on Tuesday, Nov. 8 at 7:30 p.m.

“One Night in Memphis” features over 90 minutes of rockabilly, country, gospel, and 1950s rock and roll music featuring nationally known talent. The show recreates Dec. 4, 1956, when Presley, Perkins, Lewis and Cash found themselves jamming at Sam Phillip’s Sun Studios in Memphis, Tennessee.

Little did they know their jam session was being recorded and preserved.

The show includes “Blue Suede Shoes,” “Folsom Prison Blues,” “Great Balls of Fire,” “Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On,” “Shake, Rattle and Roll,” “Don’t Be Cruel,” “Hound Dog” and more.
