Celtic Woman, the most successful all-female group in Irish history, will bring its “A Christmas Symphony” tour to the Performing Arts Center at Kent State University at Tuscarawas on Tuesday, Dec. 13 at 7:30 p.m.

With a legacy of 12 consecutive Billboard number ones, 10 million album sales and 2 billion online streams to date, this is an opportunity to hear Celtic Woman’s harmonies with the live sound of a full symphony orchestra.

“We’re thrilled to bring this highly in-demand show to New Philadelphia for their only Ohio tour stop,” said David Mitchell, general manager of the Performing Arts Center. “The tour will also make stops in Denver, Detroit, Chicago, Pittsburgh and Atlanta. It’s exciting to be able to provide our community the same opportunity to see this show as cities more than 10 times our size.”

From traditional Irish carols to uplifting anthems, Celtic Woman has a wealth of seasonal music. Hear new arrangements of “Silent Night” and the ancient Gaelic carol, “Dia do Bheatha,” from their holiday album, “The Magic of Christmas.”

Tickets for Celtic Woman start at $73 and are on sale at the Performing Arts Center box office, by calling 330-308-6400 or by visiting www.kent.edu/tuscpac. The box office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Free parking is available for all shows. The Performing Arts Center is located on the campus of Kent State Tuscarawas at 330 University Drive NE in New Philadelphia.
