The Kent State Tuscarawas Band will present a concert titled “Around the World in 80 Minutes” in the Performing Arts Center.

                        

The Kent State Tuscarawas Band will present a concert titled “Around the World in 80 Minutes” on Nov. 19 at 7 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center. Auditorium doors will open at 6:30 p.m. The concert is free and open to the public.

“The Kent State Tuscarawas Band has experienced significant growth in numbers over the last four years,” adjunct professor James Graves said. “Our ensemble now includes over 50 instrumentalists who are Kent State Tuscarawas students, community members and talented high school musicians. I am excited as I watch our members cultivate their passion for music as we rehearse, practice and perform together.”

Directed by Graves, the band will rehearse on Thursdays, beginning Jan. 23 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center. For more information on joining the band, email Graves at jgrave16@kent.edu.
