WHHS hosts annual spring band concert
West Holmes High School’s music department and district will present its annual spring high school band concert and awards and West Holmes Senior Art Show on Sunday, May 19.
West Holmes High School’s music department and district will present its annual spring high school band concert and awards and West Holmes Senior Art Show on Sunday, May 19.
The art show will be from 1-3 p.m. It will showcase art work of senior art students from West Holmes High School.
The concert band will perform at 2:30 p.m. in the high school theater, followed by the Excalibur Jazz Band and Symphonic Band. Immediately after each band performs, yearly awards will be given in each group.
A special exhibition performance also will be given by the Tradition of Excellence band at 2 p.m. before the regular band concert. This group is made up of high school students who have only recently begun their study on their instruments this year.
The event is free and open to the public.
