I am who I am

Well that just sums it up, doesn't it? Or does it?
As we at Graphic Publications embark on this grand adventure to launch our new Web sites, I am so excited but at the same time, I'll be honest, it is a little uneasy not knowing what lies ahead. But if you know me that is something you already have learned I enjoy out of life.
Hopefully, through my blog, you will learn a little about me: who I am as a person at home, how I work and play and, also, if you look a little closer you will see what actually makes me tick. I will say things that you probably will disagree with and things that you may actually like. But remember this is a blog. Just as you have your own thoughts and beliefs, I have mine. With that being said, let's dive right in—should I say, let's keep scrolling down.
Here's a quote, an unattributed quote I came across while reading awhile back. It helps put things into perspective: "Sometimes we need to stop analyzing the past...stop planning the future…stop trying to figure out precisely how we feel...stop deciding with our mind what we want our heart to feel and sometimes we just have to go with whatever...happens...happens."
So that leads me to my blog title. Everything in life really has a purpose and even though many times we plan for every possible contingency, something always seems to stand in our way—things happen. "Accidents" occur.
But looking back on what events occur, do you ever find yourself scratching your head thinking, did that happen for a reason? Maybe what I thought at the time was a complete disaster was actually a good thing now that time has passed and other events have taken place. So what I originally thought was the worst thing to happen actually was a blessing in disguise.
Yes, things actually do happen for a reason. Events occur in our lives for a purpose. I have learned in my lifetime that there are no accidents. Everything has a reason and good things, if I open my eyes and mind to them will occur. Things do happen: Accidentally on Purpose.
